Emergency Child Care Free to All Families in Crisis
Every year, millions of families across the U.S. are impacted by disasters (floods, tornadoes, hurricanes), or a crisis (job loss, home fire, medical emergency).
National Emergency Child Care Network provides immediate child care services to families who are experiencing an emergency. Our crisis intervention and disaster assistance is FREE for any family who is in need. Skilled and trained volunteers are dispatched after the family calls the crisis line for emergency child care services. Volunteer child care providers meet families at their home, at a playground, park, job site, or where the family needs them to ensure the safety of the children.
